REQUIREMENTS FROM THE CUSTOMERS TO PROCESS THE BOOKING AND RENTAL:

  • Driver`s Driving Permit
  • Passport of the driver
  • Identity Card if the driver is a resident of Mauritius
  • Credit card: Le low Cost Car hire ltd accepts all major credits cards and debits card worldwide & a credit card will be required for a deposit of Rs 25,000.

INSURANCE WAIVER CHARGE:

  • Cars are covered by a fully paid comprehensive policy in the excess of Rs 25,000
  • Damage to or loss of equipment and tyres are not covered by either the insurance deposit or by the Insurance Waiver charge and is therefore the responsibility of the hirer.
  • Loss of personal property or damage therefore is not covered.
  • No refund if car is returned earlier.
  • No refund on fuel

NO SHOW:

  • Le Low Cost Car Hire Ltd reservations are honored for a period of 4 hours after your reserved pick up time.
  • We ask you to contact our office if there are any delays in your itinerary and 1 hour prior to your pick up so that we may make sure that your vehicle is rent ready.
  • In case of a NO-SHOW, 30% of the quoted reservation price will be levied.

CANCELLATION OF THE RENTAL RESERVATION:

  • LE LOW COST CAR HIRE LTD requires a 72 hour notice for a cancellation of a rental reservation
  • If a cancellation is not completed within 72 hour of your pick up date, LE LOW COST CAR HIRE LTD will retain 30% of the total value of the initial reservation which corresponds to the immobilization of the car.

CITATIONS/PARKING TICKETS/ TOLL ROADS:

  • Renters shall be responsible for all citations, parking tickets, road violations & fines for speed excess
  • The Car is delivered in perfect working order
  • Speedometers are sealed and the seals are not to be tampered
  • The car will be delivered clean on your arrival day, Kindly clean your trash, dirt and crumbs out of the carbefore you return it, else you will be charged a cleaning fee of Rs 600

UPGRADES:

  • In Case on the arrival date of the client to Mauritius, the booked and Confirmed Car is not available, the company will take the responsibility for an upgrade of his client.

PAYMENTS:

  • To confirm a booking, customers should initiate a down payment of 30% of the quoted price
